Hello Halo Fans,
Another week has passed and after the Christmas break 343 is back in the office and they’ve brought us a couple interesting releases to discuss.
Halo Reach PC: Mouse + Keyboard Tournament
This little tidbit was buried among some of the other information they released, but that’s right next month (February 21 – 23 ) there will be the World’s first Halo tournament using mouse and keyboard. This is super exciting given all the discussions surrounding the aim assist for controllers being used on Windows. This will even the playing field and will allow some of our favorite streamers to showcase their skills without being handicapped versus the controller bunch.
The tournament is the Dreamhack Halo Series Anaheim. With a prize pool of $50,000 for Halo Reach in the 4v4 format.

Halo: CEA Flighting
Halo:CE Anniversary Flighting (testing) is getting ready to commence in the near near future. If you’re not already signed up as a Halo Insider make sure to do that if you’re interested at having a chance to participate in the various flights.
The first scheduled flights are aimed at addressing areas around:
- Single Player and Cooperative Campaign
- Multiplayer
- Customization
- Progression
Halo Reach PC: New Crouch Behaviour
343i has mentioned they’re working on new crouching behavior. Many players have mentioned their displeasure at the unnatural action of the way it currently works. The update will allow players to move while crouched and the 343i team is waiting for community feedback when the changes have been implemented.
HaloFollower YouTube Video
“2020: BIGGEST YEAR FOR HALO EVER”…
HaloFollower has released another fantastic video. He’s one of my favorite YouTubers in the Halo community. Make sure to check it out as he covers a lot of content and gives you a basic timeline for some expected announcements for Halo Infinite as well.
That’s all for now. Thanks for the support!
